We had a group paint-out on Sunday to the picturesque little village of Kells, Co Kilkenny. Despite being very chilly with a strong wind and a couple of heavy showers, there was lovely crisp light when the sun shone. As usual, the river called me, despite being even colder down there! I managed to get two done before the prospect of a pint and chat with friends in Shirley's Bar proved irrestible!

Both scenes beautifully rendered, what a wonderful place to paint, what a treat!
Thanks Diana. It was lovely. Looking forward to going back there on a warmer day.
